1. The Birth of Ishaq (A.S.)
1.1. Three angels disguised as men visited Ibrahim (A.S.), and he let them in thinking they were travelers in need of help. They did not eat or touch any of the food offered to them which scared Ibrahim (A.S.) thinking they wished him harm.
1.1.1. وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا سَلَامًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَامٌ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ (69) فَلَمَّا رَأَىٰ أَيْدِيَهُمْ لَا تَصِلُ إِلَيْهِ نَكِرَهُمْ وَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۚ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ (70) {Hud}
1.2. The men then revealed they were angels (Jibreel, Israfeel, Mika'eel) sent from Allah to give him and his wife Sarah the glad tidings of a knowledgeable child.
1.3. Sarah later gave birth to Ishaq who was also a prophet.
2. The Building of the Ka'aba
2.1. Ibrahim (A.S.) came to Ismail (A.S.) and told him that he had been ordered by Allah to build a house at a specific place, and then asked Ismail (A.S.) for his help.
2.2. They cut rocks from mountains and built the Ka'aba from its foundations. As they were building they prayed to Allah to accept from them.
2.2.1. وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (127) رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ (128) {Al-Baqarah}
2.3. The Ka'aba was recangular in shapeand about four and a half meters high. Ibrahim (A.S.) placed the Black Stone (Al-Hajr Alaswad) at one of the corners of the Kaaba to mark the start of Tawaf.
2.4. Allah then comandded Ibrahim (A.S.) to call all of mankind to perform pilgramage at this place. Ibrahim (A.S.) inquired how his voice would reach mankind, and Allah said that it would reach them.
2.4.1. وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ (27) {Al-Hajj}
3. The Sacrifice
3.1. In his sleep Ibrahim (A.S.) dreamt that he sacrificed Ismail (A.S.) to Allah. When he told Ismail about his dream, he told him to do as Allah has commanded.
3.1.1. فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَابُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَاأَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ(102) {Al-Saffat}
3.2. When Ismail had his forehead laid down ready for sacrifice and Ibrahim (A.S.) raised the knife, Allah stopped the sacrifice as they had passed the test. The sacrifice was then replaced with a sheep.
3.2.1. فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ (103) وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَاإِبْرَاهِيمُ (104) قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ (105)إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ(106) وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ (107) {Al-Saffat}
4. Travel to Arabia
4.1. Ibrahim (A.S) travels to a barren valley in the Arabian Peninsula with Hajar and Ismail. He gives them a sack of dates and water then leaves them. Hajar asks why he's leaving, then she understands its a command from Allah. He then prays for them:
4.1.1. ( ربنا إني أسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع عند بيتك المحرم ربنا ليقيموا الصلاة فاجعل أفئدة من الناس تهوي إليهم وارزقهم من الثمرات لعلهم يشكرون (37)) {Ibrahim}
