Differentiation

1. Expert

1.1. After having a thorough knowledge of swimming, students will be assigned practice on their own. There will be different workouts for each class. At G.12, students should be able to work semi-autonomous.

2. Low order understanding

2.1. These students will learn with limited direct guidance. They will use the discovery technique to learn effective swimming methods coupled with practice. Techniques will be explored through written prompts and spot checking by instructor. Students will be expected to work together as a team in their exploration.

3. Limited Knowledge

3.1. Students will receive focused attention in small groups as they learn basic aquatic skills
