1.1.1.1.2. Draw a wheel or branch diagram to show relationships between main ideas and smaller ideas inside the main ideas.

1.1.1.1.3. Helps to make connections to what you already know about the subject.

1.1.1.1.4. Main idea goes in the center of a wheel. Secondary ideas go on "spokes" of the wheel.

1.1.1.1.5. Main idea goes to top/beginning of branch. Secondary ideas go on branches.
