2.3. To refresh after wearying toil or anxiety, usually by change or deversion.
2.4. The act recreating or the state of being recreated: refreshment of the strenght and sprits aftertoil; diversion, play; a means of getting diversion or entertainment.
3. An industy comprises business entity of food, beverage, lodging or combination of these businesses to travellers during their stay in a destination.
4. INTERRELATIONSHIP OF TOURISM, LEISURE AND RECREATION
4.1. Leisure.
4.1.1. Leisure is the opposite or absence work. It is rest and relaxation.
4.2. Recreation.
4.2.1. Falls within the umbrella of leisure, and it includes the activities and events we do to enjoy our time.
4.3. Tourism.
4.3.1. Takes it one step further- it is travelling to a location for entertainment and leisure.
5. INTERRELATIONSHIP OF BASIC TOURISM FACTORS
5.1. Tourist
5.1.1. A person who is travelling or visiting a place for pleasure.
5.2. Tourist business providers
5.2.1. Where individual businesses work in partnership with other to be successful. Tourism is a very competitive and complex sector and many companies develop link with other businesses as a way of maximising profits.
5.3. Host Community
5.3.1. Tourism is an industry which uses the host community as resource to sell it as a product and in the process affect the lives of everyone.
5.4. Enviroment
5.4.1. Typically defined as travel to destinations where the flora, fauna, and cultural heritage are the primary attractions.
5.4.2. Responsible ecotourism includes programs that minimize the adverse effect of tradional tourism on the natural enviroment.
5.4.3. Enhance the cultural intergrity of local people.
5.5. Local Goverment
5.5.1. Councils are actively involved in promoting tourism, providing infrastructur and service support, but also in management the impact of tourism.
