1.3.1. New node

1.4. The Big Four Supermarkets

2. Potential Online Partnerships

2.1. Online parenting magazines

2.1.1. Netmums

2.1.2. Families Online

2.2. Reach out to the children's book blogging community for support, partnerships and publicity

3. Reaching the currently 'unreached'

3.1. Looking at new ways to extend books to non and light readers and their communities.

3.1.1. New node

4. Opening up selling opportunities

4.1. Booktrust to potentially consider opening or partnering with second hand book shops, making full use of its charity status

4.1.1. From my own experience in bookselling, good quality second hand children's books ALWAYS sell well in second hand bookstores or charity shops. A Booktrust charity shop could not only sell books but reach out into the local community as any good independent bookseller might do, run events, be a hub for reading and so on. Booktrust should take advantage of the favourable rates/rents available to charities on the high street.

4.2. Make use of affiliate schemes available through major book online retailers - Amazon, Waterstones, Hive on the Booktrust website.

4.2.1. This would be at relatively low cost and would require small changes to the Booktrust website.
