3. How higher education (BIMM) has helped me so far
3.1. The reason I chose to goto Bimm is because of their obvious shared interest in music and because i believe with their tutorage, experience, resources and support team they will help me to unlock my potential as a singer in the few months since i have been at Bimm i have realised a lot about my self as a singer i have reflected on a lot of my strengths and weaknesses and i have realised thanks to the support of my tutors and friends how much i still have to learn and to always keep an open mind.
4. reflection on journey so far To start off this reflection I want to look at what I used to do at the start of the year compared to what I do now or I am still working on… At the start of the year I didn’t really plan anything I just went with the flow, procrastination was a big thing for me I would put things off until the last possible minute. Also I never really used to think about things to much which isn’t a bad thing but when it came to interviews and important conversations I have realised that I feel a lot more comfortable when I either research and get some knowledge on what were going to be covering or if I write a little script of what i like to say I am still working on the procrastination but I do feel my attitude has changed and I feel so much more confident. over the past few months I created a vision board and put short term goals on there and started to plan more and I think about what I’m going to get done day to day its only small changes really but I do feel a lot better for them I feel a lot more prepared and a lot happier when I look of the bright side of things and not dwell to much on the things I’m not picking up as fast and things I cant do as well at but I am still progressing an working towards being a session musician.

Goals for the next 5 years... among completing my next 2 years in higher education at BIMM I will start building my social media platforms to gain more followers/subscribers and draw more attention to my pages, begin networking with other amateur artists/musicians/bands/songwriters/producers as this will become more efficient and will benifactior both parties it will be more opportunistic for myself as i will be able to develop a profile and a reference if you will and will increase more opportunities for myself to getting to work with more musicians and hopefully build a professional relationships with my 'co workers'. I would release an album be able to profit from merchandise from potential 'upcoming work' i might acquire. How will i make profit?
7.1. Making profit and a reasonable income with my career path... Well i hope to be a full time session musician which does have a reasonably seeable income however it is not guaranteed even so i have the internet and PRS and this helps me make money from my music online so if there was something to prevent me from either getting work in a live session sometimes a studio setting is the best way to make more money and it being more frequent also they're are hundreds of streaming platforms to release my music now through either social media or spottily, iTunes and youtube etc also songwriting for other artists or produces has equally equated to making reasonable income and with building my social media platforms and intriguing more people in to either listening/watching or even work with me on new songs/session work or anything to do with that field should make a reasonably pleasant income and them some.
8. Session musician & artistry... to be a successful session musician and an artist i must be able to write music (lyrics, melody, write and read charts) i also need to be confident at networking with other bands and artists as that will open opportunities for me to get my foot in the door and to be able to have different audiences to expand my fan base. I must also be well knowledgd in music theory such as ear training, sight reading, good with pitch, well adversed in different styles/genres of music so being able to adapt my voice to suit other songs also i should be quick at learning a set of songs in a short amount of time and of course be delightful and non difficult to work with so i will have more opportunities in the future.
