1. Simple past
1.1. We use the past tense to talk about: 1. something that happened once in the past 2. we often use expressions with ago with the past simple:
1.2. Afirmative
1.2.1. Subject + verb + ed
1.2.1.1. Example: I watched a movie yesterday
1.3. Negative
1.3.1. Subject + did not + infinitive verb
1.3.1.1. Example: I didn't do homework
1.4. Interrogative
1.4.1. Did / Did not + subject + infinitive verb
1.4.1.1. Example: Did you enjoy the trip? Did not you walk through the forest?
2. Verbs in past
2.1. Regular
2.1.1. We add "ed" to the verb: - ending in "e", we add "d" - consonant + y, we drop the –y and add "ied" -
2.2. Irregular
2.2.1. The verb changes totally
3. Likes
3.1. We use it when we want to express preference
3.1.1. Examples: I love listening music I enjoy playing with my team
4. Dislikes
4.1. We use it when we want to express hate or dislikes
4.1.1. Examples: I hate the loud music Dancing it's not my thing
