1. Heralds the arrival of spring in Anatolian and Central Asian cultures.
2. Children and young people gather and fight eggs on the streets during the Nevruz holiday. The most important principle of Nevruz is burning a fire. Tongel fires are lit on this night and they are jumped over by making a wish. According to the belief, anyone who passes over this fire will get rid of all diseases whose wishes will be accepted.
3. Another principle to be made during Nevruz Festival is to place the wheat in a container by watering it. Throwing a ring in the water is among the things to do on the night of Nevruz.
