1.1. Use aperature (large aperature (small f stop #) and closer = shallow depth of field

1.2. Focal distance (focal length of lens, use your feet to chance distance)

2. Circle of Confusion: how much unblurred = unsharp, 8 x 10 inch print viewed from 1 foot

2.1. Bokeh = out of range focus

2.2. Depth of focus = distance of light to sensor not subject
