5. Chemical change - any change that results in the formation of a new chemical substance
6. Properties of Matter - anything that has mass or takes up space
6.1. Liquid - takes the shape of its container, definite volume
6.2. Solid - definite shape, definite volume
6.3. Plasma - indefinite shape, indefinite volume
6.4. Gas - takes shape of its container, indefinite volume
7. Classification of Matter - based on physical or chemical properties in a substance
7.1. Pure Substances - A pure substance is a sample of matter with both definite and constant composition with distinct chemical properties.
7.2. Suspensions - a heterogenous mixture containing solid particles
7.3. Solutions - a homogenous mixture composed of only one phase
