1. The students will use the internet and text resources to research their topic according to the rubric provided.
1.1. The students will cite their information appropriately.
2. The students will find relevant pictures, videos, websites (other media) to include on their Glogster poster.
2.1. The students will credit their photos appropriately.
3. Learning Activities
3.1. The teacher will ask the each group to create a list of 5 questions they have about their topic as a way to get them thinking about what curiosities they have.
3.2. The students will work together to determine the best way to visually represent their topic on their Glogster poster.
3.2.1. How should the poster flow between the topic.
3.2.2. What should they include/exclude as to not make the poster too cluttered or too empty.
3.2.3. Aesthetically, what will make the poster look best?
3.3. The student will develop a plan for their presentation.
3.3.1. How will they present the Glogster poster to the class.
3.3.2. Who will speak and for how long?
3.3.3. What will they elaborate on and what might they leave out.
3.4. During the presentations, students not presenting will be expected to write down 3 facts per presentation and ask relevant follow-up questions to their classmates.

4.1. The student will be able to present his/her Glogster to the class (as a member of a group). [The student will be graded according to the provided rubric.]
4.2. The student will be able to ask appropriate, thought provoking questions of the presenters.

6. Teacher Roles
6.1. The teacher will provide an introduction to Glogster through a short class presentation. A reference sheet will also be provided outlining how to start a Glogster.
6.2. The teacher will act as a soundboard for advice that students may seek regarding the topic, what may be relevant, or what information may be the most meaningful.
6.3. The teacher will keep the students on task and ensure they are not wasting time on the internet.
6.4. The teacher will answer tech (Glogster) questions the students may have that are not already answered on the reference sheet provided.
6.5. The teacher will create and provide a rubric outlining how students will earn points on the assignment.
