4.1. There are many but only some will be used in the exam. Text types indicated with an asterisk (*) are those which the student may be expected to produce.

5. Vocabulary

5.1. Indonesian: no precribed vocab, but students must be familiar with a range of words and idioms.

5.2. Japanese: a vocab list is provided on VCAA and there are 150 prescribed kanj ; Students can also use the dictionary in the written exam.
