I'm Professor and Director of Environmental Studies, Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon. My research interests address environmental theory. I’m also the proud daddy of Joy and Elise; a singer-songwriter; founded an educational nonprofit, Alder Creek Community Forest, on my land in southern Oregon; and a few other things.
