7 Functions of Marketing Project for Beaches Boutique
作者:Mallory Hollatz
1. The company has had sidewalk sales, which gives people the chance to buy last season's styles for a much lower price. They also have ads online.
2. Customers receive their product by going to the Peaches Boutique store near Chicago. The companies does sell certain dresses online, but would most likely rather want you to come to the store because the dresses online can not be refunded once ordered. The company allows the customer to take home their dress after they have bought it, and does not allow refunds after you have left the store.
3. Peaches Boutique has an Instagram that lets people interact with them. Three questions I would ask a customer would be: Were the workers helpful? How long did you have to wait to try on dresses? Was their a big selection of dresses to choose from?
4. Distribution
5. Promotion
6. Marketing Information Management
7. Financing
7.1. The different forms of payment that Peaches allows credit, debit, cash and check. This makes it very flexible for the customers to decide how they want to pay for their dress.
8. Business Example: The products that Peaches Boutique sells are homecoming-casual dresses, prom dresses, and quinceanera dresses. Each year, they get the new lines of each designer they hold, keeping up with the ongoing trends.
9. Product Service Management
10. Pricing
10.1. The prom dress shown above is $450. The homecoming dress is $298 and the quinceanera dress is $750. They usually do not have a sale on dresses unless they are two to three years from past lines.
11. Selling
11.1. The company sells their products both online and in their one store. Only having one store makes the store a lot more busy, but people believe it adds to the experience of getting a homecoming dress.
