1.1. I think the land will be less suitable for agriculture.

1.4. I think the oxygen in the atmosphere will be lower, because the trees are our main source.

2. Many rainforests grow on poor soils, and when they are cut down or burned, the soil is washed a wy in the tropical rains, so that the area may turn to desert. Many plant and animal species that live there could become extinct.

3. Rainforests help to control global warming because the absorb carbon dioxide. In recent years, large area have been destroyed, as the trees are cut down for wood or burned to clear the land for farming.

4. SOLUTIONS

4.1. Conserve the forests and use them rationally, without destroying the most valuable species and allowing them to regenerate with their own seeds.

4.2. Organize reforestation days in the community.

4.3. Buy recycled paper products.

4.4. For each tree that is cut, plant another 10 more.

4.5. Preserve biodiversity through protected natural areas.
