1. Responses to Plagiarism:
1.1. Be careful when writing papers, always proof read your work, or have someone else look it over.
1.2. Plagiarism may not seem very harmful but if caught doing so the consequences could be permanent.
1.3. Have original ideas, it may be hard to do but we are all human and can all think for ourselves and don't need a screen to for us.
2. Lesson Ideas:
2.1. A fun lesson for students would be a race against the clocks. Split the class into two teams, after they have ten minutes to look through as many papers as they can to find the plagiarized papers, whoever finds the most papers before times runs out that team wins. However, if they pick a paper that is not plagiarized then they loose a point.
2.2. Another lesson that could be given to students would be to show them a slide show and have them take a test on the information. If they pass it shows they know the right from wrong. However if they fail they must retake it until they can successfully pass the test.
2.3. Have a guest speaker or multiple guest speakers some in to talk to the class on how plagiarizing has affected their life.
