1. Design facets with UI considerations

1.1. Patient Records

1.1.1. Needs to have a slightly different design for the receptionist compared to the radiologist, some kind of permission aspect.

1.1.2. Interface would have to have a search function. Be easy to navigate and have security features. Additionally, be easy to use for the receptionists, none of that disgusting SQL jargon.

1.2. Booking system

1.2.1. Have an interactable time book that would show the dates and red or green depending on if filled.

1.2.2. Easy to use a quick to navigate are the priorities for this aspect of the system.

1.3. Equipment operation

1.3.1. UI can be as technical as needed with the ability to select manuals. No audio output is preferred due to noisy nature of MRI machine. Will the UI be directly on the machine or on a desktop located in the same room?

1.3.2. Will need to show a diagram of the machine an for the technician to troubleshoot. The interface will need to be durable and fault tolerant.

1.4. Management of scan data over multiple visits

1.4.1. Patient records will have a section for previous scan results, and the patients previous visits and with what radiologist.

1.5. Providing access to medical professionals

1.5.1. Radiologist will have details of professionals built into their interface along with the receptionist. The patient will be recommended a hospital visits and the receptionist will facilitate it.

3.2. Booking system

3.2.1. Receptionists can make booking, while Radiologists can view them. Based on info provided by GP and patient.

3.2.2. GP and patient would access system remotely at clinic and discuss what time through an online booking table.

3.3. Equipment operation

3.3.1. Radiographer has access to machine systems through an interface built into our UI.

3.4. Management of scan data over multiple visits

3.4.1. Patient records are updated by radiologist after each visit, with receptionist access to appointment book for future timekeeping.

3.5. Providing access to medical professionals

3.5.1. If needed, radiologist has access to contact details for the appropriate hospital/medical professional. Patient then organises visit through receptionist.
