1. Light reactions
1.1. In the thykloid of the chloroplast sunlight is used to break down water for electrons which are then sent down a transport chain. Using this ATP and NADPH is made and sent off.
2. Calvin cycle
2.1. Then in the Calvin cycle carbon molecules are broken down by ATP and NADPH to form a sugar called glucose.
