1. Values: Beliefs, philosophies and principles that drive your business. They impact in the employees, customers, partners and shareholders.
2. Competitive advantage: It is what makes an entity's products or services more desirable to customers compared to any other rival.
2.1. - Comparative advantage: Produce something more efficiently than a rival. - Differential advantage: when the company’s products are seen as unique and higher quality, compared to their competitors.
3. - Valuable capabilities: allow the company to exploit the opportunities or neutralize the external threats. - Singular capabilities: not many competitors also have. - Irreplaceable capabilities: don’t count with any alternatives in strategic terms. - Hard to imitate capabilities: those that other companies can develop easily. . Historical: an organizational culture, brand name unique and valuable . Ambiguous causes . Social complexity: relationship, trust and friendship between administrators, suppliers and clients.
4. The resources include all assets, capabilities, organizational process, attributes, information and knowledge. Allow companies to create value for their costumers to gain superior performances from the average
4.1. - Tangible: assets that can be seen and quantified. (distribution centers, machinery, etc.) Financial resources, organizational resources, fiscal resources and technological resources.
4.2. - Intangible: assets that have deep roots in the history of the company and that have been gathered throughout time. (knowledge, trust between employees, innovation capabilities, the brand, the company’s reputation, etc.)
5. Capabilities: The company mixes its tangible and intangible resources in order to create capabilities. Are applied to play out organizational tasks necessary to produce, distribute and contribute services for the goods that direct the costumers, with the purpose of creating value. They usually rise from the development, transmission and exchange of information and knowledge between the human capital Central competencies: are capabilities that work as origins of competitive advantages.
