7. Possessive pronouns function as the subject when the pronoun replaces the possessor and the possessed element, and function as an object when they only replace the possessor.
8. How are possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns used? Possessive adjectives are mainly used to indicate that something belongs to or is part of someone. We also use them to express kinship, friendship or work relationships (people or animals) and to talk about the parts of the human body.
