Ancient Civilization

1. Shang

1.1. The government of the People's Republic of China is collectively the state authority in China under the exclusive political leadership of the Communist Party of China. It consists of legislative, executive, military, supervisory, judicial and procuratorial branches.

1.2. China is a country located in East Asia bordering fourteen other countries, including Mongolia to the north; Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan to the west

1.3. Written Chinese comprises Chinese characters used to represent the Chinese language. Chinese characters do not constitute an alphabet or a compact syllabary.

2. Indus

2.1. The Indus script is a corpus of symbols produced by the Indus Valley Civilization. Most inscriptions containing these symbols are extremely short, making it difficult to judge whether or not these symbols constituted a script used to record a language, or even symbolise a writing system.

2.2. The Indus River Valley civilization was located in a small area of land in what is now Pakistan and India. Aside from being on the banks of the large Indus river, the Indus Valley civilization was surrounded by forests, desert, and ocean, making it a very fertile land.

2.3. The Indus River Valley Civilization is a Theocracy government and a Theocracy is run by a priest so there government and religion were combined. The Indus River Valley government was combined with religion. The Indus Valley civilization was doing its best between 2600 and 1900 BCE.

3. Sumeria

3.1. The Ancient Sumerians were the first creators of a real, organized government. Their type of government was a monarchy. There were twelve city-states. Each one had a different king and style of life.

3.2. Cuneiform originally developed to write the Sumerian language of southern Mesopotamia. Along with Egyptian hieroglyphs, it is one of the earliest writing systems.

3.3. Bordered by the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, ancient Sumeria was located in southern Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia is a Greek word meaning "between two rivers." The physical environment there has remained relatively the same since about 8000 B.C.E. The landscape is flat and marshy.

4. Egypt

4.2. The ancient Egyptians used the distinctive script known today as hieroglyphs (Greek for "sacred words") for almost 4,000 years. Hieroglyphs were written on papyrus, carved in stone on tomb and temple walls, and used to decorate many objects of culture and daily life use.

4.3. The government of ancient Egypt was a theocratic monarchy as the king ruled by a mandate from the gods, initially was seen as an intermediary between human beings and the divine, and was supposed to represent the gods' will through the laws passed and policies approved.
