TYPES OF VALIDITY EVIDENCE

1. Construct Validity

1.1. Did the student's achievement increase after the subject was intensely taught?

2. CONTENT VALIDITY

2.1. Does the test question match the objective being taught?

2.2. Is the reading level grade level appropriate?

2.3. Does the test "look" valid?

2.4. Is the test measuring what it's suppose to?

2.5. Are the test items well constructed?

3. CRITERION RELATED VALIDITY

3.1. Concurrent Criterion Related Validity

3.1.1. More than one of the same type of test can be given at the same time to measure validity and find a correlation between both scores (ex. IQ tests)

3.2. Predictive

3.2.1. Predicts the future of the test taker (ex. SAT's)
