Business Plan For Northern Ontario By. Eshal Khaliq 作者: Mind Map: Business Plan For Northern Ontario By. Eshal Khaliq

1. Mission Statement:

1.1. Our mission statement is our target audience: First Nations and people from the Aboriginal community. The purpose of our store: Bring something new to the community because there are no antique stores which include items of First Nations so we will bring them closer to their culture. What we will provide: Wide variety of things related to First Nations from their clothes to items they wear to ancient items from their culture

2. Competitive Edge For Having This Business:

2.1. Since there are no antique stores specifically for First Nations this will be the biggest competitive edge in the entire Northern Ontario area. The antique stores in Northern Ontario only have rare books, furniture, dishes, and art pieces. Many First Nations would bring their children and grandchildren to my antique store so they can learn more about their culture by looking at ancient artifacts of their culture.

3. Competitors:

3.1. My competitors will be: Sleeping Giant Antiques because they are also located in Northern Ontario and sell all kinds of old things such as type writers and etc. But overall, I won't have much competition because my store will be the first First Nations antique store, a store that only includes things related to their culture.

4. Cost of The Business:

4.1. The estimated price of my business will round up to about $5,000 to just buy the property including mortgage, taxes and fixed amount

5. Timeline For Steps of Business Plan:

5.1. 1. Choose type of business

5.2. 2. Write a business plan

5.3. 3. Financing

5.4. 4. Secure Real Estate

5.5. 5. Business license

5.6. 6. Pick business location

5.7. 7. Choose business structure

5.8. 8. Choose business name

5.9. 9. Register business

5.10. 10. Get federal and tax IDs

5.11. 11. Build my team

6. What This Business Will Be?

6.1. The business that I will open in Northern Ontario will be an antique shop; all things that Indigenous people have in their culture (cultural clothes, as well as other unique artifacts).

7. What Services Will We Have?

7.1. The services that we will deal with in our retail store are; good use of the building, discounts, general merchandise, have loyalty points, for example if you buy any item you will get 20 points and when you reach a certain amount of total points you can buy anything from the store for free, accept multiple forms of payments.

8. How Will This Get The Attention of First Nation People?

8.1. Our store will catch the attention of First Nations as well as other people because the store will look different from how other stores look like. The store will look more like a house to give a warm feeling to others as well as will have the four colors of the medicine wheel which is; red, black, white, and yellow. The medicine wheel is a very important part of the First Nation culture because symbolizes the health and cycles of life which have been thought since 5, 500 years. Having loyalty points always catches the attention of customers since they have a chance of getting items for free. The most important thing is what we will sell, we will sell many unique and cultural things which will make customers buy our items especially when they're at an affordable price.

9. Identify Business and Service:

9.1. Our store will be a retail business which is the sale of goods or service from a business to a consumer.
