A Secret for Two

1. Setting

1.1. Place : The story took place on Prince Edward street in Montreal.

1.2. Time : The story took place in the olden times because they use horses for transportation.

1.3. Social condition : It started with a friendly and kind manner by getting familiar of joseph and Pierre but ended up with a sad condition which was caused by the death of both joseph and Pierre.

1.4. Atmosphere : Sentimental and sympathetic

1.5. Weather Condition : Snowy

2. Conflict

2.1. Pierre's attempt to conceal his blindness (internal)

3. Plot

3.1. Exposition : Montreal is a very large city, but, like all large cities, it has some very small streets, for instance, like Prince Edward Street. During the past fifteen years the horse which drew the milk wagon used by Pierre was a large white horse named Joseph.

3.2. Rising Action : Pierre and Joseph got familiar with each other and they started to carry the milk bottles everyday.

3.3. Climax : Pierre never touched the reins. Joseph knew just where to stop by itself. That's why even a blind man could handle his route with Joseph pulling the wagon.

3.4. Falling Action : Joseph died and Pierre got hit by a truck. The truck driver came and said that Pierre was walking as if he was blind.

3.5. Denouement : The ambulance doctor found out that he was blind for more than five years and Jacques claimed that it might be a secret between Pierre and Joseph.

6.1. human being can form admirable friendships either with people or animals. Besides, in a great friendship, we can do big duties despite having physical problems.
