1. How the international code of signal was born
1.1. In 1857, a Committee appointed by the Britsh Board of Trade published the first international code of Signal.
1.1.1. In 1934, the new code was published in seven different languages and was divevd in two parts
1.1.1.1. visual and sound signal
1.1.1.1.1. Now regulated by the IMO
1.1.1.2. radiotelegraphy and radio communication
2. Sound and visual signal
2.1. Sound signal employ the ship's siren, whistle or beel and they can be used to transmit messages usig the International code of siganl
2.2. Visual signal can be sent using an aldis lamp which flashes messages using the morse code
3. Signal sound
3.1. thera are a different flags for each letter of the alphabet
3.1.1. Pennant-shaped flags for numbers
3.1.2. Triangular-shaped which indicate that the flag is being repeated
3.1.3. Flags is hoisted alone it has a particular meaning
3.1.4. the combination flags transmit particular meanings
