1. Apps
1.1. Application software (apps) are programs that allow the user to complete tasks.
1.1.1. Examples: Word processors, internet browsers, and games are all examples of application software. Every app in a phone’s app store is also application software.
2. System Software
2.1. System software are the programs that make sure the individual hardware devices work together and properly with other programs.
2.1.1. Examples: Windows on a laptop or iOS (the mobile operating system) on an iPhone are examples of system software.
3. Output
3.1. Output refers to the parts that the computer uses to send information to you.
4. Input
4.1. Input refers to the parts used to send information to a computer, including a keyboard, mouse, game controller, and webcam.
5. Storage
5.1. Storage refers to the parts that the computer uses to store information, including hard drives, USB FLASH DRIVES , CDs, and RAM
6. Processing
6.1. The processing parts of the computer run programs, interpret input, and supply output, including the central processing unit (CPU) and the graphics processing unit (GPU).
7. CPU
7.1. It receives input information and executes commands from other hardware and software.
8. GPU
8.1. The GPU delivers images, animations, and videos that can be viewed on the computer’s screen.
