1. Advantages
1.1. For children, a situation is created near reality where they should explain or discuss a topic using the knowledge they gained during the study.
1.2. This approach is learner-oriented as it takes the interests and needs of the learners into account.
1.3. The students learn to respond quickly to the words of the interlocutor and to formulate their answer
1.4. The students learn with collaboration and sharing
2. Disadvantages
2.1. It is difficult for some students to express their thoughts aloud
2.2. The approach does not focus much on removing the errors of the learners.Since their errors aren’t corrected, learners are likely to produce incorrect grammatical sentences.
2.3. Lack of time for all those who wish to express their opinion
3. Components
3.1. Focus on using language skills for communication
3.2. Communicative activities include a role-life reason to communicative,focus on content not form
3.3. Role-plays where learners use language skills in a real-life scenario
3.4. Helping students understand the purpose of learning
4. Roles
4.1. The teacher acts as a guide and a facilitator or instructor.
4.2. Learner is negotiator between the self ,the learning process and the object of learning
