1. she's nice and sweet to her brothers, even tho they're very annoying sometimes. she's very stubborn because she doesen't want to let her mother control everything she has to do, she is also brave, because she did everything for her mother to make her turn into Elinor again, and she was brave because she said what she thought about the marriage thing.
2. Why does Merida return to the witch with her (bear)mother there is something, the witch has forgotten to tell her - how to break the spell. If the spell isn't broken by the second sunrise it will be permanent. To break it Merida has to remember these words: Fate be changed look inside, mend the bond torn by pride. What is meant by these words?

11.1.1. Merida is a princess, her dad fights bears, he lost a leg once while fighting one. she has 3 brothers, always being naughty. As she gets older she needs to get married, but her mother chooses for her. Merida doesen't like that. So she finds a witch, and asks for a spell to change her mother's thoughts about the marriage. The witch gives her a cake, and Merida goes home to give it to her mother. But Merida didn't know that the witch was just going to change her into a bear. After she eats the cake she feels sick. Merida regrets everything. Her mother turned into a bear. Her 3 little brothers also ate some of the cake, and they eventually turned into 3 bears. Her dad doesen't believe that the bear is Elinor, his wife. So he tries to kill her. Merida goes back to the witches house, but the witch is gone. And the witch tells Merida through a spell to "remember these words" "Fate be changed, look inside, mend the bond, torn by pride." while out with her mother, the bear, they accidently find Mor'du the biggest bear, stronger than 10 men. But they escape him. later Mor'du is back, he knocked down everyone, even Merida's father. Merida's mother, the bear, fighted him. And won, a rock fell over Mor'du, and he died. At second sunrise, the spell is permanent. at Second sunrise Merida is crying next to her mother, because it didnt work. and she thought her mother would now permanently be a bear. But as the sun rised, her mother and her brothers turned back into normal, and everyone was happy.
