2. Inspection

2.1. -Check for corrosion, nicks or dents on the tanks

2.2. -Check for leaks with a solution of 50/50 soap and water

2.3. -Fittings, heads and hoses checked for competency

3. Safety

3.1. - PPE

3.1.1. -Long sleeves

3.1.2. -Safety glasses or face shield

3.1.3. -Appropriate gloves

3.2. -Carry 1 fire extinguisher per tank on the roof(one per burner)

3.3. -Remain at least 3 feet away from a person operating a torch

4. Storage

4.1. -Secured upright, 25 feet away from kettles or tankers

4.2. -There shall be no smoking within 50 feet of stored tanks

4.3. -Transport up to 5 tanks without TDG, with labels visible facing out, secured upright in an open vehicle

5. Operation

5.1. -Tanks must be on level ground

5.2. -Light the torch with sparker

5.3. -When burning indoors, there is a risk of CO2 poisoning. Make sure there is plenty of venitilation

5.4. -Cylinder valve open all the way when in use, and ensure use of torch valve to regulate flame
