1. Recipes and Dishes
1.1. Cookbooks are all over the wrold. you can find them online, in stores, or even in your pantry somehwere. That is what makes them so special.
1.1.1. Anotehr story of my mom and her cookbook. She has had since I can remeber and now she has most of it memorized but I do remeber seeing it a lot as a kid. I alwyas talk about taking it when I get my own home, but my brother thinks otehrwise.
2. Eating In
2.1. Exlpaining my Thanksgiving meal was a blast. I could go on and on about the different flavors and dishes but that would take a long time.
2.1.1. Actually cooking the meal I cannot explain as I was not there. I was spending time with my family and before you know it dinner is ready. That is my favorite part seeing everyone enjoy the meal and talk about how good it is.
2.1.1.1. Thanksgiving is my favorite.
3. Eating Out and Gastronomy
3.1. I love eating out and choosing new places to eat, but this is not healthy.
3.1.1. Learning most of the food I expected to be American was not was very shocking. This did make me think about all of the other things that are "American: that really aren't.
3.1.1.1. Fried foods go back all the way to ancient egypt?!
4. Indigestion
4.1. The global food system is not good with many issues. Learning all of this was crazy and doing research was very interesting. We really need to getthe Global food system under control.
4.1.1. Increase of population only means more food needed- but also less food able to grow because more land is needed to grow food? All very confusing.
4.1.1.1. Climate change? I do not quite understand Climate change yet, but I do know it is not good especially for agriculture and ability to grow and sustain food growth.
5. A lot of my research was done online trying to find an interesting class.
5.1. I had no clue what to expect going into this class.
6. Classifying food
6.1. trying to find a nutraceuticals food was difficult, but when I learned what that meant Salmon was my best choice. It was easy for me to talk about Salmon as I enjoy learn9ing and reading facts about the foods I eat.
6.1.1. I enjoyed this first discussion and was excited for the rest of the class.
7. Settled Ingredients
7.1. It is hard to grow plants in my house as we do not have best area for planting seeds. This is what makes it so much more enjoyable when we are able to grow our own ingredients.
7.1.1. I had fun writing this discussion because I know how much my mom put in when goriwng plants and I finally was able to talk about them
8. Mobile Ingredients
8.1. Finding out where certain ingredients are from was very intriguing. I did not realuize how much I could actually write about rice and it's orgin so as I was doing research I really enjoyed it.
8.1.1. Picking a specirfic ingredient and doing research was very fun as I was able to find so many new things about rice.
9. Cooks and Kitchens
9.1. My mom is my favorite chef. She was able to learn so many new things in her time in New York. I am still learning new things she teaches me form her time in the East Coast. She is the most talented chef I know.
9.1.1. I can talk about my mom all day as she is always pushing herself to learn, so being able to talk about my favorite dish from my favorite chef is great.
