Mary Lee

1. Mary Lee was a women suffragette in Australia who was part of the South Australian Women’s suffrage league.

2. Mary fought for six years to allow women to vote but many attempts failed.

3. After lots of attempts the women got people from South Australia which included the Northen Teritory at the time got people to sign a form that they would to the gouvernment.

4. The form had 11,600 signatures on it and when it was read women had the right to vote and be in Parliament in Australia.
