1. I Learned from course material
1.1. New Defination: From what I have learned, technology is a very wide term that is not limited to one specific field means it is much more than machines. It's advancing day by day right from the starting of human life on earth and act as a tool for human in making their life easier.
1.2. "Human’s use of technology involves not only machines (e.g., computer hardware) and instruments, but also includes structured relations with other humans, machines, and the environment. In short, technology is more than a collection of machines and devices. To go beyond simplistic intuitions about technology requires investigation of the human mind and socio-cultural environment as well as interactions with technological artifacts" (Isman, 2012, 208).
1.3. Technology has become the most powerful force. It's a force that has been on the planet in such a degree that it has become who we are. It allows us to continue to reinvent ourselves.(Youtube (2010, February 22) Kevin Kelly Technology's epic's story)

2. Technology plays a critical role in the field of sciene, healthcare, communication and education.
2.1. It's with us from the starting of evolution of humans.
3. Why we need new technologies?
3.1. Plays a most crucial role in our survival by making our daily tasks easier and increase our productivity.
3.1.1. For example: self check in and check out procedures at airports, hotels, and retail stores are much faster and reduces the involvement of staff.
3.2. Advancements in technology will increase safety and security by improving cybersecurity measures and surveillance.
3.2.1. Secure encryption of data and Multi factor authentication allows only authourised users to access confidential information.
3.2.2. Smartphone features like GPS tracking and emergency SOS functions helps individuals in emergency situations.
3.2.3. Emergency alarm systems that can detect smoke, fire can save individuals from life threatening situations.
3.3. New Technologies will connect the Global World by enabling better communication and remote work.
3.3.1. For Example: Virtual meetings (ZOOM Meetings) helps us to interacct with individuals all across the globe.
3.4. New technologies will proliferate economic development by creating industies and markets, thus resulting in creation of new job opportunities.

5. How my idea of technology Changed?
5.1. Previously, my thoughts about technology resemble with Schatzberg as he mentioned that Prior to 1930 "issues that historians now discuss in terms of technology were framed in such terms as useful arts, manufacturing, industry, invention, applied science, and the machine" (Schatzberg, 2006, p. 486).
5.1.1. In my opinion, technology was associated with words such as arts and applied science, but while learning the module, I realized that it was beyond this.
5.2. Now I believe that technology is anything useful invented by human mind.(Youtube (2010, February 22) Kevin Kelly Technology's epic's story).
5.3. The system is not limited to electronic devices or machines. It is essentially a human-made solution that aims to solve problems and advance to enhance the standard of living for all of humanity.
6. What I thought before?
6.1. Old defination: Technology is basically related to computers, Internet, robots, and artificaial intelligence.

6.1.5. Artificial Intelligence
6.2. Techology is anything that wasn't around when you were born.(Alan Kay)
6.3. Technology was something that was invented to improve the quality of life from early decades.
