1.1. A positive about the gold fields are we get at least some gold from the ballarat gold fields.

1.2. The gold we bring back is used to make houses and buildings and also to keep family's safe and not poor

2. problems

2.1. We miners all have a big problem with these Chinese because they are using all only fresh water and putting dirt into it and water is getting limmited

2.2. We also have another problem with the Chinese and that is over claiming other peoples claims which is a bad idea because they are stealing the left over gold that we left behind in our claims which took all of us to get.

3. Feelings and thoughts

3.1. I feel scared of these people called the Chinese because they all were the same clothes which is not normal on a goldfield because we all were different clothes and i cant tell who is who

3.2. these Chinese people are making me feel nervous because you don't know what they will do next like they might steal because they just got here.

4. Treatment of the Chinese

4.1. We treat the Chinese badly and make jokes about them like we call them Ching Chong China Men/Man and the funny part is they dont know what we are sayintg
