1. Deaf-Blindnes - simultaneous visual and hearing disabilities
2. Deafness - a child who cannot function in an academic environment without a hearing device - Use of a hearing device, placement in an environment that uses sign language
3. Developmental Delay - an age-relative delay in physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, communicative or behavioral development - Push in support from a special education teacher
4. Emotional Disturbance - severe emotionally driver behavior that adversely affects a child's academic performance - Time with School Counselor
5. Other health impairment - limited strength, vitality or alertness, or hyper-sensitivity to stimuli that impairs academic performance - Occupational therapy one on one
6. Specific Learning Disability - a disability in one of the areas of cognition associated with language - One on One time with a special education teacher
7. Speech or Language Impairment - a communication disorder that adversely affects academic performance - Time with a speech and language pathologist
8. Traumatic Brain Injury - an injury to the brain caused by external force that adversely affects academic performance
9. Autism - developmental disability often characterized by repetitive activities, adverse reaction to change in routines or environment and unusual responses to sensory stimulus - Dedicated aid push-in to class
10. Hearing Impairment - Impairment of hearing that adversely affects a child's academic performance but does not qualify as Deafness - Hearing device
11. Intellectual Disability - significantly below average intellectual ability that impairs a child's ability to functions academically - IEP
12. Multiple Disabilities - simultaneous combination of impairments that cannot be treated individually in a special education program geared toward one of the impairments alone
13. Orthopedic impairment - severe orthopedic impairment that inhibits a child's academic performance - Occupational therapy
14. Visual Impairment Including Blindness - a visual impairment that even with corrective tools impairs academic performance - Special placement
