1.1. BD: Bending of a wave as it move as it moves around an obstacle or passes through a narrow opening

1.2. MD: When a wave bends due to passing through a narrow space or moving around an obstacle

2.1. BD: Bending of a wave as it enters a new medium at an angle

2.2. MD: Occurs when a wave bends going through a new medium at an angle

2.3. Example: Lawnmower

3. Reflection

3.1. BD: Occurs when a wave bounces off a surface that it cannot pass through

3.2. MD: When waves are incapable of passing through a surface

3.3. Example: Pool

4. Interference

4.1. BD: Occurs when two or more waves overlap and combine together

4.2. MD: When two waves overlap and combine

4.3. Example: Sandbar

5. Constructive Interference

5.1. BD: Occurs when two or more waves combine to produce a wave with a larger displacement.

5.2. MD: When two or more waves combine to make a wave with a larger displacement

5.3. Example: Pushing a kid on a swing

6. Destructive Interference

6.1. BD: When two or more waves combine to produce a wave with a smaller displacement

6.2. MD: When tow or more waves combine to make a wave with a smaller displacement
