1. Creativity

1.1. Project #1: My analysis of sources in P1 lacked creativity in connecting the articles to the rhetorical analysis aspect and focused mostly on summary.

1.1.1. Annotated Bibliography

1.2. Project #2: I used much more creativity in completing Project #2 which furthered my work ethic and more effectively formed my analysis

1.2.1. I connected articles on football to sports broadcasting and the civil rights era

2. Curiosity

2.1. Project #1: I was curious in my topic and research but I didn't find any motivation to be interested in the analysis portion

2.2. Project #2: I struggled at first maintaining interest in my topic, it was difficult to connect all the aspects of my analysis together

3. Openness

3.1. Project #1: I was open to the topic but struggled in making connections throughout my analysis process. This caused my project to be bland and boring

3.2. Project #2: I was closed off and stubborn starting this; confused about how I would make my document flow effectively.

3.2.1. I opened my mind to being more creative and connected my evidence well after revising my document and identifying missing aspects that would help shape my paper.

4. Flexibility

4.1. Most heavily noted in P#2 because of my initial struggle to successfully connect my sources to my topic and the change in my state of mind that caused me to connect all of my ideas together.

5. Responsibility

5.1. Project #1: Although I completed all of the required assignments, I did so with little thought and minimal effort

5.1.1. Slacked on Analysis of sources; didn't care or consider consequences; grade showed I needed to improve

5.2. Project #2: I began with the same thought process as I did on Project #2, but realized my work ethic was slacking. I immediately improved myself and my work ethic to successfully complete project project #2.

5.2.1. Slacked on choosing sources, realized my mistake then chose new sources and analyzed them thoughtfully.

6. Persistence

6.1. Project #1: staying on top of my assignments and turning in everything on time

6.1.1. Best assignment in module 1= DD3HW2 Map to Narrow Topic

6.2. Project #2: interest was peaked throughout entire module; maintained focus

6.2.1. Best assignment in module 2= Peer Reviews

7. Engagement

7.1. Project #1: Disengaged. The topic was intriguing but when it came down to my final draft, it showed a lack of engagement and interest.

7.1.1. Peer reviews

7.2. Project #2: Engaged. My introduction paragraph of this project shows my engagement because I was able to connect my audience to my topic effectively

8. Metacognition

8.1. Project #1: failure to effectively reflect upon the module and demonstrate this quality

8.1.1. Reflect on Module 1/ Project 1

8.2. Project #2: After reading chapter 12 it was much easier to understand how to reflect and the thought process that goes into it
