How do I figure out Narrative Point of View?

1. First: Gently cross off any dialogue. (When you are trying to figure out narrative point of view, you must ignore the dialogue)
1.1. Dialogue = When the characters speak (words are found in quotation marks)
1.2. Narration = When the narrator speaks
2. Second: Circle all the pronouns
2.1. If the pronouns are: I, me, my, we, our, us, ours etc.
2.1.1. First PERSON
2.1.1.1. Narrator is part of the story
2.2. If the pronouns are: you (singular), you (plural), your (singular), your (plural)
2.2.1. Second PERSON
2.2.1.1. Usually used for giving instructions and in/on commercials.
2.3. If the pronouns are: he, she, they, them, theirs, etc. Third person will also use the characters names
2.3.1. Third PERSON
2.3.1.1. Narrator isn't usually involved, often telling others stories
