Gun control in the USA vs. Canada

2.1. Laws= Canada has a very strict gun policy that is the same for all over the country.But for the few people that do have guns they most likely have them because a) They have a license to have a gun for hunting or other things or b) They are with the army or the police.In canada it is illegal to carry a gun around with you, and you must have a permit to own one. If you do decide to purchase a gun. They do a background check to make sure it is safe.
2.2. Deaths and shootings= Between the years of 2009 and 2013 there has been 977 gun homicides and 15 massacres between the years of 2002 and 2017 in Canada.11/ 15 involved guns and 3/15 were school shootings.
3. USA
3.1. Laws= The Usa is divided into different states witch all have different gun laws. Some are more Strict Then others.But these following laws can be found in the majority of the states that permit guns: You must be 18 or over to own a gun,You dont have to have a federal license to have a gun, You are legally aloud to carry a gun around and in some cases without a license
3.2. Deaths and shootings= In the year of 2013 there was 11 208 gun deaths In USA.From year 2013 there has been over 300 school shootings and 1001 mass shootings
