1. Digital Access
1.1. Full electronic participation in society
1.2. To give all school students the opporitunity to use technology
1.3. To not include children without technological access or ignore digital needs of different groups
2. Digital Commerce
2.1. Students should be aware of the opportunities and problems associated with purchasing items using technology
2.2. Students identify safe sites to make sure they are purchasing from only reliable sources
2.3. Students who can not identify safe sites and buy unreliable websites
3. Digital Communication
3.1. Students should use e-mail, cell phone, and instant messaging technologies appropriately
3.2. Students will use digital communication out of class where it will not disturb the classroom
3.3. Students use short hand like they are texting and keep their phones on in class which will cause a distraction if it goes off
4. Digital Literacy
4.1. Students should use technology to access information to learn new concepts
4.2. Students use technology in different new ways
4.3. Students cannot access their school work outside of school
5. Digital Law
5.1. The legal rights and restrictions governing technology use.
5.1.1. People pay for the music they want.
5.1.2. Someone downloads music from a website and shares it with their friends.
6. Digital Rights and Responsibilities
6.1. The privileges and freedoms extened to all digital technology users, and the behaviorl expections that come with them.
6.1.1. Students show were they got there information from.
6.1.1.1. New node
6.1.2. Student takes full credit for work they found off the internet.
7. Digital Health and Wellness
7.1. The elements of physical and psychological well-being related to digital technology use.
7.1.1. Student learns about good health related to technology.
7.1.2. Health and Wellness issues are ignored by user.
8. Digital Security
8.1. The precautions that all technology users must take to guarantee their personal safety and the security of their network.
8.1.1. Users understand the importance of not sharing personal information on unsecure websites.
8.1.2. Users don't update the software to keep the computer safe from viruse.
9. Digital Literacy
9.1. The capability to use digital technology and knowing when and how to use it.
9.1.1. Students use technology in new ways.
9.1.2. Students can't accsess websites away from the classroom.
