1. Article A

1.1. When the word begins with a consonant you must use 'A'.

3.1. However, with this rule there is an exception. If you are using a word with a silent 'h'.

4.1. When the word begins with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u), then you should use 'a', it sounds better and it sounds more appropriate to say it.

6.1. When the 'u' has the same sound as the 'y' in "you", or the 'o' has the same sound as the 'w' in "won" then you must use 'a'.
