1. “I am the bread of life." (John 6:35)

1.1. Bread is a staple food and by saying that he is bread Jesus is stating that he represents life

2. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:11)

2.1. Foreshadows the sacrifice Jesus (shepherd) is going to make in order to save humanity (sheep)

3. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

3.1. Darkness represents evil and sin in this case and Jesus is here to protect us from that

4.1. This shows that Jesus was truly a Human being and had come to serve those on Earth
