This year alone, I have grown drastically in my education. I have learned many new materials and found resources that I can use to better me, not just as a student, but as a person who is constantly changing. Even though I have succeeded past my expectations and completed every challenge that I need to become a junior, I still have some regrets from throughout my time as a sophomore.

My biggest regret of all is my work ethic. I was completely slacking in my work ethic at the beginning of the year. I became very ill with the disease known as procrastination. I waited until the last possible minute(sometimes later) to turn in my work. This kept me from getting the straight A\'s I so dearly wanted. I never found the will to do my work on time, so I would always be stressed from being so far behind. When we, as a class, studied the Holocaust, I realized that I can\'t just slack my way to good grades. I had to work for them. The regretful part is not having this realization until the end of the school year.

Another regret that I have is that I spent too much time with my friends and not enough time studying or doing my homework. This whole year, I was afraid of losing my friends(the few that I have). I knew that we were drifting apart and I wanted to stop it. I tried too hard with this and not enough time focusing on school. In the end, I fixed the friendships. However, putting the friendships before my fure and education may not have been the best choice.

The last regret I had was that I don\'t think I went as deep into the knowledge as I could have. I learned everything I needed to learn, don\'t get me wrong, but I feel as though I just did what was needed. I didn\'t drive to dig deeper. I shouldn\'t have just did the minimum. I should have went above and beyond.

These regrets are the only things holding me back from being a successful junior. I know that these obstacles can be overcome, but I will have to work for it. I have passed the 10th grade, and now I will pilot my life to soar towards success.
