How does religion affect its followers.

1. Understanding Life

1.1. The Hindu Caste system helps people understand why they exist and the rules they need to follow. Know who you are and what you're supposed to do helps the understanding life and discover yourself.

1.2. The 10 commandments help the Christians go through life too. All the Christians want to do a live a humble and kind life a go to heaven when they're older. The 10 commandments help them. It guides them to understand life and live a nice one.

2. Peaceful Coexistence

2.1. According to the Five Pillars of Faith, every Muslim has to follow Zakat. One of the rules in Zakat is that you need to help others or give to charity. This resembles peaceful coexistence.

2.2. The 10 commandments create peaceful coexistence too. All these rules help people make the right decision in life. All the rules create peaceful coexistence.

3. Handling Adversity

3.1. An example of handling adversity is the 4 noble truths. The 4 noble truths talk about suffering which leads to handling adversity.

3.2. The Hindu Caste system you also have to handle adversity too. You want to be at the top of the pyramid. (the brahmins)If you are at the bottom you may face difficult problems.
