1. Electrical energy is associated with electrical charges and can be either kinetic-when the charges are in motion, such as in a circuit- or potential- when they are stored, as in a capacitor
2. The potential energy of an object is energy due to its composition, position, and form. Potential energy is sotred and can be released.
3. Thermal energy: Matter is made up of particles that are in constand motion. The kinetic energy of these moving particles is called thermal energy and is related to temperature.
4. Mechanical energy is related to the speed at wich an object moves ( its kinetic energy) and the height it is located at (its gravitational potential energy).
5. Kinetic Energy
6. Kinetic Enegy is associated with motion-both the motion of objects or the particles they are made up of. This energy increases with mass and with speed
7. Potential energy
8. Mechanical Energy
9. Thermal Energy
10. Electrical Energy
11. Magnetic energy is associated with objects that possess magnetic properties, such as magnets.
12. Radiant energy is associated with electromagnetic waves such as light, X-rays, and microwaves. These waves are able to travel through the vacuum of space.
13. Sound is a wave or vibration in matter that transmits a form of kinetic energy: sound energy. These waves do not propagate in a vacuum.
14. Chemical energy: Atoms are held together by chemical bonds, which store chemical energy-a form of potential energy.
15. Chemical Energy
16. Nuclear Energy
17. Sound Energy
18. Radiant Energy
19. Magnetic Energy
20. Nuclear: Attoms are made up of a nucleus and a cloud of electrons surrounding it. The nucleus is made up of protons and neutrons that are held together by a type of protential energy called nuclear energy.
