Active and Passive voice
Nandini Sharmaにより
1. Passive voice One can change the normal word order of many active sentences (those with a direct object) so that the subject is no longer active, but is, instead, being acted upon by the verb - or passive.
2. The lion was killed by the hunter
3. Passive voice: Subject+Verb+Object
4. Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action.
5. This room is used on special occasions.
6. The passive voice is used when we want to emphasize the action (the verb) and the object of a sentence rather than subject.
7. Active voice In most English sentences with an action verb, the subject performs the action denoted by the verb.
8. The hunter killed the lion.
9. We use this room on special occasions
10. Active voice: Object+ Verb+Subject
11. Active voice refers to a type of sentence in which the subject performs the action expressed by the verb.
