"listen, ive got to tell you something" He had now become absolutley motionless, and he kept his head down so that the light light from the lamp beside him fell across the upper part of his face, leaving the chin and mouth in shadow . (pg . 381) {this is where her husband tell her that he has be cheating on her}
1.3. At that point, Mary Maloney simply walked up behind him and without any pause she swung the big frozen leg of lamb high in the air and brought it down as hard as she could on the back of his head. she might as well have hit him with a steel club. (pg. 382)

4.1. Mary killed him the the leg of the lamb and she is getting away with it.
4.2. Marys husband cheated on her.
4.3. the FBI agents are blind and cant find the weapon used to kill her husband, unbeknowst to them they are eating the weapon used to kill him. this is susepnseful irony because we know who and how her husband was killed but they do not. (pg. 386)
