This is where you follow the plans in your storyboard. You now use your videography skills to:

-shoot 5 seconds before and after the action

-use a steady camera with a tripod if possible

-have light on your talent and no backlighting

-no or limited background noise

-shoot closeups to record quality audio and video

-shoot several versions of each scene. It doesn\'t hurt to use a hand whiteboard and marker to write \"Scene 3- Take 2\". You can even keep a shooting log notebook where you write down which scene was the best. This really helps in Stage 5 when you edit your video.

-check your video to make sure it records well
