The Need to Reform Education

1. There is no need to reform education
1.1. The current system produces many professionals who contribute to the society
1.2. Reforming education does not mean that everyone's talent will be developed
1.3. The current system is already very efficient
2. Everyday our children spread their dreams beneath our feet
2.1. In conclusion, I think that there is a need to reform our education system
2.1.1. I agree with Sir Ken Robinson that education should nurture one's talent and allow one to pursue one's dream.
2.1.1.1. The education system in Singapore allows everyone to be able to pursue their dreams and nurture their talents. Schools in Singapore have many courses for students to take. An example would be the polytechnics in Singapore which allow students to choose the course they are interested in and let them focus in that sector
3. There is a need to reform education
3.1. Not evolution but revolution
3.1.1. Transformation is needed
3.2. Many things have been formed not to meet the circumstances of this century but to cope with the circumstances of previous countries
3.3. Linearity
3.3.1. We see education as a way to develop ourselves
3.4. Conformity
3.4.1. Built our education system on a model of fast food
3.4.1.1. It is impoverishing our spirits and energy
3.5. Many people live their lives without knowing what their real talent actually is. They just carry on doing whatever they are doing everyday for the rest of their lives.
3.5.1. Talent is being wasted
