2.1. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Trees

2.1.2. Materials Needed: Construction Paper, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree Template , Scissors, Glue and Cut Out Letters

2.1.3. Students will create their own coconut tree and with the help of an adult they will put their names going up the coconut tree.

3. Week 2

3.1. Make Your Own Rainbow Fish

3.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Story

3.1.2. Materials Needed: Paper Plate with a triangle cut out, Markers, and an assortment of glitter and sequins.

3.1.3. Students will use the paper plate and a variety of supplies to create their own rainbow fish.

4. Week 3

4.1. The Lorax Project

4.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Story

4.1.2. Materials Needed: Construction Paper, Cupcake Liners, Straws, Glue, Goggly Eyes

4.1.3. Students will create their own version of the Lorax and choose whatever color of Truffula trees they want to make.

5. Week 4

5.1. The Kissing Hand Raccoon

5.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Story

5.1.2. Material Needed: Brown Paper Bag, Construction Paper, Gray and Black Paint, Paintbrushes, Glue, Googly Eyes, Scissors, Markers, and small black pom poms.

5.1.3. Students will create a puppet of Chester the raccoon. Students should be given a plain brown paper bag and be shown a picture of Chester the Raccoon and the reference picture.

6. Week 5

6.1. Shape Monsters

6.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Craft

6.1.2. Materials Needed: Colored construction paper, Safety scissors, Glue sticks, Liquid glue, Markers, Crayons, and Reference images of monsters.

6.1.3. The children will use colored construction paper to cut out shapes that they will then arrange to make their own monsters. After that, they will glue the shapes to another piece of paper. If they want, they can use markers or crayons to add more details.

7. Week 6

7.1. Nature Collage

7.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Craft

7.1.2. Materials Needed: Paper, or cardboard for the base, Glue sticks, liquid glue, or hot glue (with adult), Safety scissors, natural materials collected during an outdoor nature walk such as: Leaves, Twigs, Flowers, Grass, Small pebbles or stones, Pinecones, Seeds, and Shells.

7.1.3. Students will be able to notice and appreciate the shapes, colors, and textures found in nature by gathering different natural materials and using them to make collages. As students cut, arrange, and glue the pieces onto their collages, the activity also helps them improve their fine motor skills.

8. Week 7

8.1. Dot-to-Dot Alphabet Sheets

8.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Craft

8.1.2. Materials Needed: Crayons, Markers, Printed work-sheet, and Color pencils.

8.1.3. Students will be using the dot-to-dot work-sheets to express their creativity inside of the finished connective letter. This worksheet will allow students to memorize the alphabet, while encouraging creativity and art. There are different letters linked to the website, allow the children to choose which letters they want to color. Print multiple copies of each letter.

9. Week 8

9.1. Storybook Illustration

9.1.1. Reference Picture and Link to the Craft

9.1.2. Materials Needed: Printed copies of the 'About the Author' pages, as well as the blank story book pages, Colored pencils, Markers, Crayons, Stickers, Glue, Pom-Poms, Safety Scissors, and Colorful construction paper.

9.1.3. Students will be able to express their creativity with no limits. Creating their own storybook, with their own storyline. They will use the copies of paper provided by the teacher to have an base and area to work with. For example, in the 'About the Author' section, the student can place stickers or color objects they like, to represent them, the author.
