Structures of a Database

1. Collect and store data
1.1. All a data base is a collection of data, but the collection typically grows as additional data is obtained.
2. Organize and Output
2.1. Information is typical database is stored in no particular order, so it needs to be organized in a way suitable for the data.
3. Update Data
3.1. The database needs to be manged so the data is kept up to date.
4. Distribute data
4.1. A good way to distribute data is with a mailmerge system, or simply displayed with a output screen.
5. Find Data
5.1. The database needs to be able to find data fast, they normally make locating information easy.
